The Bordello Thunder Run is great I day event that has become a Las Vegas bikers tradition and happens every February in Southern Nevada, the entertainment capital of the world. The ride attracts 100’s of participants from Southern Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California.
The ride starts out with registration in Las Vegas, then a Blackjack run through scenic Red Rock Canyon recreation area to highway 160 which takes you over Mountain Springs to Pahrump. The first stop for a card is the World Famous Chicken Ranch; the next stop will be at Sheri’s Ranch and Resort or other brothels in the area. The girls like to have their picture taken on the bikes or even give you a tour of the different themed private rooms at the brothel. Very interesting! If it’s a warm day you may even catch the girls sunning themselves by the pool. The next destination is Crystal, NV where you will find the Nevada Brothel Museum and Miss Kathy’s Short Branch Saloon.
At the Short Branch there will be Live Music, Larry’s Famous Steak and Chicken Barbecue, Fun People, and some great Prize Drawings. The event is over about 4pm so you have plenty of time to get back to Vegas before the sun goes down. The entire ride is approximately 185 miles from start to finish.
A portion of net proceeds from this event are donated to Adaptive Action Sports, Inc., a non-profit organization. AAS helps young people, returning veterans and others who have lost limbs or have other physical challenges, get back into sports, music and arts.
